COMPATIBILITY:
- 2016 Ford F-150 pickup trucks equipped the 8" SYNC 3 system - this will NOT work with the older 8" MyFord Touch system or add the 8" touchscreen to your vehicle.
- NOTE: If your vehicle does not have the upgraded USB hub already that supports Apple CarPlay, you will need to purchase the optional USB hub listed above, OR request we downgrade the system software to version 3.3 in the order notes.

- Q – “Will this kit void my factory warranty?”
- A – No. This kit will not void your vehicle warranty. Although Ford will not warranty the components in our kit, we do for one full year!
- Q – “Can I still update the SYNC software when updates are available?”
- A – Yes. You will still be able to update SYNC via USB thumb drive from our software updates page HERE.
- Q – “Will this kit affect my SiriusXM subscription?”
- A – No. SiriusXM subscriptions are NOT affected by our kit - your SiriusXM ID will remain the same.

Awesome Upgrade
Switched out the non-Nav Sync 3 module with the OEM Sync 3 Nav module on my 2016 F-150 XLT. Also added Apple Car Play by switching out the USB module. The installation was pretty easy & fast. I think just about anybody could do it. The modules were shipped pretty fast. I took advantage of the prepaid label to send the old module back for a credit. I highly recommend this upgrade. The Ford navigation works pretty good, and Apple Car Play is great. You can elect to use Apple Maps for navigation and any incoming texts are read out loud by Siri. Thanks 4D Tech!

2016 F150 LTD. NAV.
Saved over $800.00. Ford service dept. Said it would cost. Over 2,000.00 +shipping. And that's not. Cost to install. (Didn't. Know I could do it myself) 4DTech. Made it all happen. V

Works great!
The upgrade works exactly as advertised. Easy install although removing the connectors requires some patience. Instructions provided in the box are somewhat superficial but there is a YouTube video that gives a better step through of the installation.

Only way to get factory nav
Fifteen minute install (take a look at the YouTube installation video for good info). Adds nav that looks/is exactly like the factory version. At first power up the screen was in night mode and the time was displaying --:--. Upon restart everything was normal, time showing correctly and daytime mode displayed. Did not wipe my pre-sets for AM/FM or Sirius, had to reconnect my cell for bluetooth but other than that the system worked like it should right out of the box. Is what it says it is, does what it says it does.

Straight forward and easy.
Ordered the Sync 3 Navigation module on a Sunday. Received it three days later. Installed it in less that an hour. Works flawlessly. Can't imagine an easier process.
