COMPATIBILITY:
- 2015, 2016 & 2017 F-150 Pickup Trucks equipped the 4" MyFord system
- Existing 4" system must have basic SYNC / Bluetooth functions to perform this upgrade

- SiriusXM Travel Link requires a navigation equipped kit and your vehicle to be equipped with SiriusXM (factory equipped).
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
- Q – “My Hub is in my center console unlike the one in the video, will this kit still work?”
- A – Yes, The hub install and connections are the same, just in a different location.
- Q – “I have manual climate controls. Will this add the on screen controls?”
- A – No. There is not a cost effective way to add automatic climate control.
- Q – “Will this add SYNC Connect / FordPass controls from my phone?”
- A – No. SYNC Connect is a separate modem optioned in some vehicles. We do not currently offer a kit to add this functionality.
- Q – “Will this kit void my factory warranty?”
- A – No. This kit will not void your vehicle warranty. Although Ford will not warranty the components in our kit, we do for one full year!
- Q – “Can I still update the SYNC software when updates are available?”
- A – Yes. You will still be able to update SYNC via USB thumb drive from our software updates page HERE.
- Q – “Will this kit affect my SiriusXM subscription?”
- A – No. SiriusXM subscriptions are NOT affected by our kit - your SiriusXM ID will remain the same.
- Q – “My vehicle does not have a camera but I would like to add one at the same time - do I need extra parts or programming?”
- A – Our kit has an RCA input for a aftermarket backup camera. Simply let us know that you are adding a camera in the customer notes and we will enable it in programming for free!

2016 F150 SYNC 3 Upgrade conversion from 4” Display
System is the most innovative product in the Market found this product with 4DTech was easy, price is much better than buying in the car dealerships, tech support and warranty for 1 year is awesome. It put more value in to your vehicle. Your car look superior than before when you have the 4 inchs screen.

The conversion was relatively pain free.
The improvement from 4" to 8" was great for the backup camera. The Apple Play feature works without a hitch. The help desk was informative.

Great customer service! What a big difference going from a 4” screen to an 8” screen! Now I can use Apple Car Play for GPS and Apps. Just follow the installation video and take your time and you can install it yourself.

Great upgrade ... worth the money & easy install
I'm glad that I finally decided to purchase this upgrade from the Sync 2 4" that came on my 2017 F-150. The Sync 2 system had a very annoying delay when attempting to use Voice & was very difficult at times to sync via Bluetooth to my iPhone 7+. The Sync 3 8" upgrade was very straight forward to install. The instructions were decent but the Youtube video was great. I just played & paused it as needed via my iPad, while doing the install. The Sync 3 system doesn't have any of the Bluetooth or Voice control delays that I experienced in my Sync 2 system. They 8" screen is also great & looks much better in my truck!

AWESOME!!
Ok Ford said it could not be done. 4D Tech went and said "oh yeah, here hold my beer and watch this" and then they did it!! This 4 to 8 inch Sync to Sync3 works great and if you watch the YouTube video then follow the instructions--takes about 45 minutes and done. This works great!! and you can't tell it from a factory install.

The best upgrade you can invest in!
I did a lot of investigating and research on this upgrade before choosing 4Dtech. While there are many companies advertising their systems as "plug-and-play", few of them truly are. This system is so easy to install it's actually fun! If you're procrastinating on it in any way, i can tell you there are no worries. Watch the video on how-to and it really is that easy of a change, the features you gain are well worth the investment!
If you need assistance along the way, one phone call is all it takes. No holding for endless automated prompts, messages left if you need to are returned in minutes not days. I called a few times just to get guidance on all the features and every time i got exactly the information i needed.
If you want to work with a company that treats you like a close friend this is the one.
