NOTES:
- SiriusXM Travel Link requires a navigation equipped kit and your vehicle to be factory equipped with SiriusXM.
- Although the bezel does have an additional "Driving Mode" switch, this kit does not add the Driving Mode function to the bezel.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
- Q – “I have manual climate controls. Will this add the on screen controls / automatic climate control?”
- A – Yes. This kit will add single zone automatic climate control. The passenger side controls will not function.
- Q – “Will this add SYNC Connect / FordPass controls from my phone?”
- A – No. SYNC Connect is a separate modem optioned in some vehicles. We do not currently offer a kit to add this functionality.
- Q – “Will this kit void my factory warranty?”
- A – No. This kit will not void your vehicle warranty. Although Ford will not warranty the components in our kit, we do for one full year!
- Q – “Can I still update the SYNC software when updates are available?”
- A – Yes. You will still be able to update SYNC via USB thumb drive from our software updates page HERE.
- Q – “Will this kit affect my SiriusXM subscription?”
- A – No. SiriusXM subscriptions are NOT affected by our kit - your SiriusXM ID will remain the same.

Touchscreen Conversion
Love it, it really adds to the car. However, I'm unable to link Sirius XM directly into the system.

8” Touchscreen Conversion
Great product so far. I don’t drive my Mustang very much, it’s new, and the weather has been bad, so only a few hundred miles since the install. I was going to wait and write a review later on, after I’ve used it more, but decided to do the review now. I’m still trying to figure out how everything works. When the phone is plugged into the either net port, the Sync pulls from the phone and the screen and background changes, which is very nice. It also pulls the apps that are allowed. The only issue I have noticed is a slight delay with everything starting up, once the car is turned on. A few glitches and a few seconds and it’s up and running. Not sure if that’s normal or not. It’s pricey, but so far, worth the money. As long as it lasts. Install was easy. I would recommend.

Excellent product but poor attention
I don't know too much about cars, so before buying I sent a lot of emails but I never pleased with the attention. I tried to called them but nobody picked up the phone, ever. The installation guide that I received was for other model of Mustang or It’s obsolete, however, they have an excellent installation-video in YouTube, in their own website is for old models. The installation is easy as well, but the pieces that you have to remove for the installation use to be tight, so, be careful. The quality of the product is excellent, I’m truly happy with my purchase. I have to recognize that. Now my car looks wonderful.

Easy install and great upgrade
I've been upgrading sound systems in vehicles since I started driving (in the 90's). The days of a brand name DIN replacement are long gone, but that doesn't mean you have to keep things stock. My wife has a base Mustang EB, and the 4 inch radio pales in comparison to SYNC 3. I found 4D and their factory replacement system and it was perfect. I watched the install video twice so knew the process pretty well. It took me less than an hour to tear down and put everything back. I had my wife come out and look and she said "you're done already?" She was blown away with CarPlay. I love that it looks and works like factory and provides most of the benefits of a more expensive vehicle model without the higher monthly payments. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Conversion kit worked as advertised. It upgraded my Mustang to Sync 3 system seamlessly. The You Tube video tutorial was an excellent source of information to do the installation. Highly Recommend.
