- Q – “I have manual climate controls. Will this add the on screen controls / automatic climate control?”
- A – Yes. This kit will add single zone automatic climate control. The passenger side controls will not function.
- Q – “Will this add SYNC Connect / FordPass controls from my phone?”
- A – No. SYNC Connect is a separate modem optioned in some vehicles. We do not currently offer a kit to add this functionality.
- Q – “Will this kit void my factory warranty?”
- A – No. This kit will not void your vehicle warranty. Although Ford will not warranty the components in our kit, we do for one full year!
- Q – “Can I still update the SYNC software when updates are available?”
- A – Yes. You will still be able to update SYNC via USB thumb drive from our software updates page HERE.
- Q – “Will this kit affect my SiriusXM subscription?”
- A – No. SiriusXM subscriptions are NOT affected by our kit - your SiriusXM ID will remain the same.

Ranger (2019) 4” to 8” touchscreen conversion.
This conversion kit arrived quickly and following the YouTube video the installation was simple and took just over an hour. All needed components were on hand and the system was “live” and functioning right away!

So worth the buy in my opinion
This was so easy to install, yes it’s pricey but they send you everything you need. You won’t need to buy anything else for the install.

Literally plug and play
The new component installed JUST AS EASY as the video and instructions showed. Biggest issue I ran into was a broken trim clip on the drivers side tunnel near the center console/floor. Aside from that, literally plug and play. Great product.

Ranger (2019) 4'' to 8'' Touchscreen Conversion w/ SYNC 3
Its been installed for 2 weeks now and very happy with the product. Easy to install. Works as advertised and tremendous improvement over the old 4" display and functionality. The entertainment experience is a huge improvement and better bluetooth experience. The climate control functionality is so much better for set and forget temp vs old pick the vent, temp, and fan speed. I got the Nav feature which also works very well. The extra passenger temp controls are less desirable since they are unused but its a very minor issue. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

Easy even for first timer
I'm not a car guy so I was nervous about doing this upgrade. It's was super easy though. I recommend watching the YouTube a couple times before starting and then while doing. Also get the panel removing tools if you don't have them ($10 on the site). I needed to use a socket wrench to loosen a couple of the bolts but other than that the video covered everything. Everything is working great and it's a nice upgrade to my "buy whatever is on the lot during COVID" Ranger.

Worthwhile Ranger upgrade
This upgrade was worth every penny. I use Android Auto for both music and navigation and this is far better than needing to place my phone an a dash-mounted holder. I also considered some cheaper aftermarket installations, but none of them were cheap and some would lose capabilities (like the back up camera). This not only integrated perfectly, it added single zone climate control, which I feel like is a nice bonus. I'm very happy with the upgrade, which was easy to install. It is worth every penny.

I’m not one to do a review but this product went in just like they said it would with no problems and works great
